Parking: Pull into the crushed shell driveway marked by the driftwood "Sea Breeze" sign. You'll have space for two vehicles—park on the left side to keep the right side clear for pool equipment access. If you have a third car, additional parking is available at the public beach lot two blocks south on Sandpiper Lane (free after 5 PM, metered during the day).
Finding the Lock: The lock is located at the poolside cabana entrance, not the main front door. Walk past the main house on the right side along the wooden boardwalk (you'll hear the pool waterfall). The cabana has weathered gray siding and turquoise shutters—the lock is on the Dutch door, specifically the bottom half. Look for the silver keypad to the right of the seashell door knocker.
Using the Lock: Cover your hand to shade the screen from bright sun, then press the "Awake" button (sun icon). Enter your code firmly—the salt air can make the buttons slightly sticky. Press the palm tree symbol to confirm. When you hear the ocean wave chime and the handle clicks, lift up and pull toward you. The top half of the door stays latched for breeze flow.
Pool Area Note: The pool gate has a separate child-safety latch at adult shoulder height—reach over and lift the driftwood handle to enter the deck area.
